Rybka 2.3 and Chess Openings 2007

From Convekta

Yet again, Vasik Rajlich has managed to enhance his program even further and now its leadership among chess playing programs is beyond question. Just a while ago the question of the world's strongest chess engine was just between a few points. Now rybka tops the list by nearly 150 rating points and is a regular tool for the world's elite players.

Rybka's success is due to the excellent evaluation of dynamic factors combined with a subtle sharpness of the positional nuances allowing it to attain these outstanding results in playing and quality of analysis!

Compared to version 2.2, Rybka 2.3 is better tactically and also stronger at both blitz and classical time controls.

In addition to Rybka 2.3, versions of Ruffian, Delfi, Crafty and Russian Dragon are included. Nalimov Tablebases (not included) may also be linked to these programs to further their potential especially in endgames. You can add Rybka to the main chess programs e.g. Fritz, Chess Assistant 9, Shredder and free interface Arena. Rybka 2.3 UCI includes versions for 32 Bit and 64 Bit processors.

Also included with Rybka is Chess Openings 2007. Chess Openings 2007 includes rich theoretical material on all the openings, more than 8,000 annotations from GM Kalinin, 500,000 expert evaluations to key opening positions, and a database with over 3 million games. The theoretical material is presented in a familiar form of the encyclopedic table and allows you to replay the opening lines on the chessboard.

Altogether it is a wonderful product. With a nice price for all the material you are getting, I must highly recommend this program!
