Sign up to Professor MacDinosaur's chess class. You will grow from a hatchling fresh from the egg to a huge dinosaur ready to take on the TRex.

The action takes you through different parts of the dinosaur's world from jungles to forests. Here you learn the chess skills that will help you grow enough to defeat the other dinosaurs in battle.

Starting out as a small dinosaur you will go through Professor MacDinosaur's chess training. Here there are 11 lessons to go through. During the lessons there are activities where you will get to put what you just learned into use, a nice feature.

Lesson 1 You will learn about the board and how to set up the pieces

Lessons 2-7 Teaches how all the pieces move. Rook, Bishop, Knight, Pawn, Queen, and then King. In chapter 6: The Queen, my program has a mistake. It shows the queen being able to move to a square it can not. Not a big deal, but hopefully this will be fixed on future copies.

Lesson 8 Is on how to castle, and getting the king safe.

Lesson 9 Tells how games are won, lost, and drawn.

Lesson 10 Shows the piece values and goes over trades.

Lesson 11 Ties it all together with some basic chess tips, giving the player an idea what to do and where to put his or her pieces.

After training you can test your skills against the other dinosaurs, each one with a different difficulty.
